Alone in the dust 1
Walking in the dust of low mountain trails, begins my journey as a Nature Fine Art Photographer. A story of adventure, and the timeless power of nature.
My first steps, the majestic volcanic highlands, across jagged peaks and rugged terrain. Exploring in quiet solitude rocky formations, with textures carved by wind, and hidden valleys between peaks, I was moved by the raw, poetic essence of these intricate natural geological formations.
The strong sound of wind in the dust grew to be a loyal narrator that accompanied me capturing moments suspended between reality and imagination. In this mystic symphony, through careful composition and timing, requiring patience and a deep understanding of natural elements, I begun taking shots.
Traveling by foot lets me experience the journey in a more intimate and meaningful way. It offers me a chance to observe the details of the surroundings, feel the rhythm of the land, and connect deeply with the environment. The interplay of colors, from deep dark grey to soft golden browns, adds a poetic touch to the quiet magic of nature’s contours and the rolling terrain. Shooting through this elements, highlighting the land’s depth, I gathered ideas to create my artworks.
Exploring volcanic fields, with their barren landscapes and unpredictable surfaces, demand cautious navigation. It required careful planning, as the combination of intense sun and rugged terrain can quickly lead to dehydration and exhaustion. Adequate preparation involves bringing sufficient water, and timing visits, to avoid midday heat. By respecting these natural challenges and preparing thoughtfully I was able to blend with the environment. These rocks become more than geological formations; they are symbols of resilience and tranquility.
Sparse vegetation in these environments reflects the harsh conditions where water and nutrients are limited. Plants that survive here often exhibit remarkable adaptations. I found this delicate balance between scarcity and survival as a storytelling element. Volcanic stones bathed in warm colors, hues ranging from soft ochres to deep rusts. These tones create an inviting atmosphere, where the rough texture of each stone contrasts beautifully with the light and gentle flora.
Equilibrium in life is the delicate balance between peace and challenge, where growth occurs. Peace offers a refuge, a moment to reflect and recharge, while challenges push us beyond comfort, fostering resilience and strength. Together, they create a dynamic harmony. Combining this idea with creativity I started to envision the theme for the new art collection.
